Main summary

Investizo is an international Forex and CFD (Contracts for Difference) broker. The broker doesn’t hold any license from a financial regulatory body. While this can be viewed as a major drawback by many traders, some are looking for opportunities such as the ability to trade using high leverage and companies that offer generous trading bonuses, which only unregulated brokers can offer.

The broker offers access to trading around 150 instruments from different asset classes, including CFDs on stocks, cryptocurrencies, energies, Forex, indices, and metals. In this review, we’ll discuss safety, tradable instruments, trading fees, customer support, and more.

Real ECN, Real Standard

Investizo doesn’t hold a license from any regulatory body. It’s important to note that unregulated brokers lack transparency, and investors are not protected if anything goes wrong. It should also be mentioned that some traders prefer unregulated brokers due to the availability of much higher leverage and things like bonuses, which are often not available from regulated brokers.

On the upside, traders are protected from their balance going negative as there’s a 20% Stop Out level for Real ECN and Real Standard account holders.

Trading assets offered by Investizo

Forex trading on Investizo

Investizo offers various currency pairs for trading, including major, minor, and exotic pairs. 53 pairs are available in total. Trading fees differ for each asset, on EUR/USD, fees start from 1 pip on a Real Standard account. The maximum available leverage is 1000:1.

CFD trading at Investizo

The broker offers access to trading CFDs (Contracts for Difference) on various asset classes. There are numerous benefits to trading CFDs over regular shares, and this asset class is great for short-term traders especially. Some of the most notable benefits include:

  • Ability to use leverage - CFD traders are able to use leverage and increase their purchasing power, while investors that invest in physical assets such as real stocks or precious metals cannot do so.
  • CFDs can be traded in both directions. Traders can buy or sell assets and profit from different market conditions.
  • CFDs are more popular instruments and as a result, have higher liquidity.

The number of available company stocks as CFDs is limited to 45. This is not a great number as many industry leaders offer many more tradable instruments in comparison. However, the broker manages to offer the most popular U.S. company stocks, such as:

  • ALIBABA GROUP HOLDING LIMITED
  • AMAZON.COM, INC.
  • AMERICAN EXPRESS CO
  • APPLE, INC.
  • BANK OF AMERICA CORPORATION, etc.

Account types available for traders on Investizo

There are generally two categories of traders, active and passive. Active traders trade intraday, for instance, scalpers, news traders, high-frequency traders, and algorithmic traders. Then there are passive traders such as swing traders, beginners, and position traders.

Active traders are looking for low spreads, while swing traders and position traders prefer low commissions. To meet the needs of both trader types, Investizo offers account types for both.

The broker offers Real ECN and Real Standard account types. The ECN account is for active trading and spreads start from just 0.1 pips. On the other hand, traders are charged a 5 USD commission. There are no commissions on the Standard account, and trading fees are included in spreads. Spreads on this account type start from 1 pip on Euro against USD. What this means is that every time a trader opens an order, 1 pip goes to Investizo. To save on trading fees, traders choose highly liquid pairs such as major currencies, and trade during the most active hours (London and New York trading sessions). This way, market spreads are minimal.

Trading platforms reviewed at Investizo

Investizo offers MetaTrader 4 (MT4) as its main platform to its clients. MT4 is one of the most popular Forex trading platforms in the world and supports hedging, offers various tools and indicators for comprehensive technical analysis, and enables traders to automate their trading using algorithms called Expert Advisors (EAs).

MetaTrader 4 was released in 2005 and quickly gained popularity among traders, especially in the FX market. The platform remains very popular even today, despite the fact that there have not been many upgrades to the platform’s looks over the years. MT4 is super reliable and can run on outdated or low-budget computers easily. Furthermore, MT4 users have access to the largest pool of EAs.

Mobile trading at Investizo

Traders can download a mobile version of MetaTrader 4. The platform is available for both Android and iOS devices. The platform enables users to stay in touch with market developments from anywhere in the world and control their trading portfolio on the go.

Education and research tools offered by Investizo

Educational material is very limited with this broker. Traders only have access to basic tools such as economic calendars, simple analytics, and signals. There are no glossaries, webinars, or seminars available.

Customer support of Investizo

Customer support at Investizo is available via email, or over the phone. Unfortunately, we couldn’t find an online chat option, which is a huge downside.

Conclusion

Overall, we can say that Investizo offers various asset classes through one of the most popular platforms on earth. Trading fees are average, and the registration process is user-friendly. On the other hand, the broker is not regulated, which means traders are not protected by any regulatory bodies.
