The broker is well-established and fairly well-regulated by reputable overseeing bodies, including UK’s FCA and Australian ASIC. Let’s get into the nitty-gritty and examine each aspect of this broker in detail.

Safety & Security of Advanced Markets

In the UK and Australia, Advanced Markets holds regulatory licenses. The regulators are:

  • Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) - UK
  • The Australian Securities and Investments Commission (ASIC) - Australia

These are two heavyweights in the regulatory industry and keep a very close eye on license holders. The broker is a part of the investor compensation fund and stores all client money in segregated accounts. There is negative balance protection and traders won’t have to worry about losing more than their account balance in case of over-leveraged trading.

Trading platforms and mobile trading reviewed at Advanced Markets

MetaTrader 4 (MT4) and MetaTrader 5 (MT5) are both offered by Advanced Markets. The broker also offers traders the ability to access trade signals and perform copy trading directly from their customized versions of the MT4 and MT5 trading platforms. Both platforms are available to download on both desktop and mobile. MT4 and MT5 are known for their advanced features, including inbuilt and custom indicators and automated trading capabilities.

Education and research tools offered by Advanced Markets

Educational materials are limited and the broker is more focused on delivering quality trading terms rather than educational materials. There are also no market research tools to assist traders, and traders will have to equip themselves with tools from other sites. The newsroom offered by the website covers only company and general Forex institutional news, which won’t aid traders much in doing analyses.

Customer support of Advanced Markets

Support is available through several channels 24/5 and offers responsive and knowledgeable answers to all questions that may have been asked by traders. During our research, we asked several questions and support was polite and in answering everything with due diligence. Other forms of support, apart from live chat, include phone calls, email, social media network pages, and visiting their offices. It is also possible to leave a message to the broker through an online form. Unfortunately, there are only two languages supported on their website.

Conclusion

Having more than 15 years of experience on the brokerage scene, Advanced Markets is a regulated Forex broker that comes with a decent track record. The broker is regulated by the FCA and ASIC from the UK and Australia respectively. Advanced Markets offers a range of account types for both retail and institutional clients with competitive spreads and commissions. The entry-level account is called Advanced Plus, and the minimum deposit is just $100. With a minimum spread of 1.2 pips and zero commissions. Other account types are requiring substantially more capital but offer lower spreads. Leverage also changes depending on the account type, but is capped at 1:500. Educational and market research tools are limited, but customer support is wonderful with knowledgeable customer support agents available through live chat. Trading is possible from most devices through the MT4 and MT5 trading platforms.
